Can remote sensing predict solar energy potential in Tibet?
Long-term and high-resolution ISCCP-HXG SSR products derived from remote sensing can well characterize the spatio-temporal pattern of solar energy potential. More than 330 kWh/m 2 of PV power potential was predicted for most areas in Tibet, highly related to the middle reaches of Yarlung Zangbo River.
